Ricardo M. Amaral
Ricardo M. Amaral, Director, Business Development, joined Aluma Tower Company in 2010. Ricardo’s business success during his 20 plus year career, is attributed to his delivering personal customer service through every phase of the product lifecycle. He is an expert at branding and continues to be a force in innovation at Aluma. He has implemented a successful sales and marketing methodology, which has helped the company successfully process more than 1200 diverse projects, meeting or exceeding his sales objectives time-after-time. In 2019, Ricardo led the Aluma’s Sales department to achieve its best sales year in its organizational history. He is currently focused on driving sales and marking into an era of process excellence and preparing Aluma’s sales to support new verticals and markets, increasing profitability, reducing costs, and optimizing resources. Ricardo holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Central Florida, Nicholson School of Communications, and a Bachelor of Science in Advertising and Marketing from the University of Central Maranhão – Brazil, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Ricardo is fluent in four languages (English, Portuguese, Spanish, French). He is a dedicated husband and father of two girls. In 1995, Ricardo became an Eagle Scout, and he dedicates his extra time volunteering as a leader and manager with the World Organization of Scout Movement (WOSM).
Dakota joined the Aluma team in 2014, following a series of challenging assignments in distribution, retail, banking, private equity, telecommunications, and transition leadership. At Skyview Capital’s NewNet Communication Technologies unit, he led the Hangzhou, China-based transition of several hundred employees as part of a $500M strategic acquisition of a Motorola global business unit. Also, at NewNet, he drove new customer acquisition programs that resulted in dramatic increases in sales bookings each year. Since his arrival at Aluma, Dakota has been a key member of the sales organization that has grown annual revenue by over 400%. He attributes his success to being focused on customer satisfaction and working collaboratively with colleagues. Dakota lives in New York City with his wife and their two beloved canines.
Ben recently joined the Aluma Tower sales team after several years developing and implementing sales processes and strategies for growth stage companies. He has the discerning ability to identify new verticals and produce business development blueprints to energetically expand into incremental, high-profile markets. Drawing on his Bachelor’s Degree in Science from James Madison University, Ben approaches sales methodically; fusing traditional sales techniques with the scientific method. This approach has secured accounts with industry leaders such as Fender Musical Instruments Corporation and Jet Blue. Born and raised in the DC Metro Area, Ben currently resides outside of the city with his wife and their two dogs. He is a talented musician and cook who can sometimes be found at his second office: the golf course.
Carlos Enery Petrovitch Ronda joined Aluma Tower in 2017 as an Inside Sales Manager. With over 15 years of experience in the banking and telecommunications industries, Carlos has helped develop key growth sales strategies, tactics, and action plans for the Aluma Tower sales team. He creates and submits bids to military and government agencies, municipalities, large fleets, and national accounts. Carlos graduated from the Universidad Metropolitana de Puerto Rico with two Master’s Degrees in Business Administration: Business Management and Human Resources Administration. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science. He is FOA certified as a Fiber Optics Technician (CFOT) and licensed by the FCC as a Radio Telephone Operator with a Radar Endorsement. In his free time, Carlos enjoys learning about emerging technologies and acquiring new skills through reading.
Joseph Blume began with Aluma Tower as a Lead Welder and Fabricator in 2009. His keen eye and attention to detail has helped propel Joseph to his current role: Manager of Sales Engineering. Joseph has been integral in relationship management for some of Aluma’s largest customers and has participated in the development of product drawings and general process improvements. His extensive knowledge of the company’s products and collaborative nature make him a valued member of the Aluma Tower sales team. Joseph currently resides in Vero Beach with his wife, Bethany, and their three children: Brady, Sadie, and Levi.
