Aluma Tower designs and produces a line of telescopic masts and towers suited for use with the most sophisticated and sensitive meteorological and environmental monitoring equipment. The M-10M is a 10-meter freestanding meteorological tower designed for small, lightweight antennas, with a maximum of 35 lb (15 kg) weight and 3 sq. ft (0.27871 m²) surface area. This aluminum MET mast tower is ideal for wind speed and direction equipment, sensors, and light antennas. A tilt-base is designed to be cemented directly into the concrete pad supplied by user. It can also be used in temporary guyed installations. The tower comes equipped with a hinged base, a temporary mounting plate, guy wire attachment points, and a guy kit.
These systems are reliable, rugged and easy to set up with average deployment times ranging between 15 minutes for two people and 30 minutes for a single operator.
This MET tower consists of three-sided, 10 m (32 ft) equilateral triangle cross-section constructed of tubular legs made of 6061-T6 aluminum. The three 10 ft (3.048 m) sections are sleeved for quick installation. The freestanding tower is durable, lightweight, and easy to use. It’s rated for an impressive 110 mph (49.174 m/s) wind speed when properly installed.
Meteorological towers are complete with base and 1 in (2.5400 cm) schedule 40 pipe x 5 ft (1.5240 m) long aluminum mast.
FOT-10 10-meter aluminum tower is for small lightweight antennas or equipment. It was specifically designed to elevate air-sampling equipment; the tower tilts easily to allow for rapid collection of samples. The tower consists of two “B” sections: lower section 17 ft (5.1816 m) and upper section 25 ft (7.62 m). The upper section is hinged b the lower section to allow fold-over. The tower has a mast that is a 2 in diameter x 1/8 in wall round tube and is 4 ft 9 in long. The assembly also comes with a fixed base. The lower section must be guyed or bracketed to a building at a minimum of six feet high along one side of the tower.
Model T-135 and T-35H are 35 ft (10.668 m) aluminum telescoping towers. The 35 ft telescoping towers nest to approximately 12 ft (3.6576 m). These towers feature a tilt base. They can be “walked up” by one person and telescoped to the desired height. The towers are manufactured from 6061-T6 aluminum and are complete with a tilt-base, building bracket, and mast. For mobile operations, Aluma offers trailer tower solutions as well as vehicle-mounted towers. The transportable tower units are designed for rapid setup and easy operation in the field.
