General Manager/Executive Vice President
Shane Mullan, General Manager & Executive Vice President, joined Aluma Tower Company in 2006. He began his journey with Aluma as a welder/fabricator and quickly rose through the ranks as Shop Lead, Production Manager, Vice President of Sales, and Vice President of Operations.
As Production Manager, Shane was successful in reducing overtime by improving workflow and implementing proven work procedures on the production floor. As Vice President of Sales, he developed Aluma’s first outside sales team and implemented many of the company’s sales processes that are still used today. As Vice President of Operations, Shane led the company through record-breaking revenue growth. Shane has also assisted in the development of new products, such as Aluma’s skid system, the Scorpion trailer model, and Aluma’s un-guyed tower systems.
Since taking on his current role in 2020, Shane has been able to leverage his experience and vast knowledge of the products to become a well-respected and important element of Aluma’s leadership team. His current focus is on the growth of the business, both in volume and margin, while maintaining quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
Shane holds his AAS in Business Administration and Management from Indian River State College and a Master Welder Certification from Tulsa Welding School in Jacksonville, Florida. He currently resides in Florida with his wife, daughter, and dog named “Louie.” He loves spending his free time on the water and fishing.
Executive Vice of President Sales, Marketing and Product Management,
Ricardo M. Amaral, Executive Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Product Management, joined Aluma Tower Company in 2010. Ricardo’s business success during his 20 plus year career, is attributed to his delivering personal customer service through every phase of the product lifecycle. He is an expert at branding and continues to be a force in innovation at Aluma. He has implemented a successful sales and marketing methodology, which has helped the company successfully process more than 1200 diverse projects, meeting or exceeding his sales objectives time-after-time.
In 2019, Ricardo led the Aluma’s Sales department to achieve its best sales year in its organizational history. He is currently focused on driving sales and marking into an era of process excellence and preparing Aluma’s sales to support new verticals and markets, increasing profitability, reducing costs, and optimizing resources.
Ricardo holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Central Florida, Nicholson School of Communications, and a Bachelor of Science in Advertising and Marketing from the University of Central Maranhão – Brazil, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Ricardo is fluent in four languages (English, Portuguese, Spanish, French). He is a dedicated husband and father of two girls. In 1995, Ricardo became an Eagle Scout, and he dedicates his extra time volunteering as a leader and manager with the World Organization of Scout Movement (WOSM).
Director, Change Management
Amelia S. Dickey, Director of Change Management, joined Aluma Tower Company in 2020. Change Management is a new critical function for assisting with transformation and promoting teamwork across functions. She approaches change with a multi-disciplinary, positive attitude that ensures that all employees have the tools and skills needed to tackle changes with stride.
Amelia has been integral to the day-to-day operations at Aluma, helping to identify areas for development. Most notably, she was instrumental in forming a cross-functional collaboration between Aluma employees and bringing structure to management and their individual contributors.
Amelia graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor in Science degree from Florida State University (2008) in Sociology and Political Science, and minors in Interdisciplinary Social Science and Italian. She has nearly a decade of progressively more challenging managerial roles in the Telecommunications Industry, including Change Management. She has written departmental policy and procedures, created collaborative cross-functional teams, and has helped orchestrate the transition for companies going from private to public. She lives with her husband and their two dogs in Virginia and is an excellent cook.
John Hall joined Aluma in March 2016. Prior to joining Aluma, John’s 20+ year career in the Marine Industry included positions in Operations Management, Production Management, Customer Service, Business Process/ Quality Management, and ERP Implementation. John attributes his accomplishments to the utilization of a fact-based, process-oriented approach towards reaching goals in support of customer satisfaction and organizational objectives. In his current role, John will lead the operations team towards more efficient and streamlined processes. These efforts will include the implementation phase of Lean methodology and the full utilization of the company’s ERP/MRP system. By working closely with the entire Aluma team, John will ensure that quality, safety, efficiency, and on-time delivery are achieved.
Craig Davis originally joined Aluma Tower Company in 2004 as a Mechanical Engineer and Designer. He has held a number of key management positions at Aluma Tower including Assistant General Manager, Engineering Configurations Manager, and Operations Manager. Craig brought keen technical expertise to our product lines from the experiences he gained from working at IBM, Raymond Forklifts, and Freedom Plastics. Since joining Aluma Tower, Craig has helped implement innovations such as the patented unguyed tower system, the patented SMART tower solution, and the C-130 capable “Scorpion” mobile tower system. These products have set the stage for Aluma Tower to continue to lead the industry and become the premiere provider of aluminum towers and mobile deployable platforms worldwide.
In his current role, Craig will drive operations towards a more efficient and streamlined function. These efforts will include the implementation of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma, utilization and scale of the company’s ERP system, and strict inventory management. By working closely with the entire operations team, Craig will ensure that quality, safety, efficiency, and on-time delivery are achieved.
Craig holds his AAS degree in Mechanical Engineering from SUNY and is completing his BS degree in Organizational Management at Indian River State College. He is a forward thinker and possesses a wealth of tribal knowledge in all facets of our business. Craig continues to help the company set and reach their goals.
