Privately held Aluma Tower Company, Inc is the world’s preeminent supplier of aluminum mobile tower systems with thousands of units successfully deployed globally.  The company is headquartered in Vero Beach, FL.

Aluma conceives, designs, engineers, manufactures, integrates, deploys, and services its core products. These products include a robust line of customizable telescoping towers, both guyed and un-guyed.  Aluma’s towers can be fix-mounted or mounted on company manufactured skids, truck beds, open trailers, and shelter trailers.  Additional products include highly customized, environmentally-controlled radio cabinets and shelters, integration and test of customer furnished or Aluma provided equipment, and post-delivery support and logistics.  Available accessories include custom antenna brackets, and generators and other portable power solutions, including solar panels and obstruction lighting.

Industries traditionally served by the company include military, telecommunications service providers, law enforcement, emergency management, surveillance, weather monitoring, oil and gas, and utilities.  Aluma is currently expanding into additional vertical markets, driven by an enhanced focus on customer applications and use cases coupled with 5G/6G technology and accelerating movement to private networks.  This new focus is opening an enormous wave of opportunities for Aluma in education, rural broadband, and private company sectors.

Poised for a period of dramatic growth we are searching for a seasoned, accomplished, respected, innovative technology-related industry executive to serve as Vice President, Sales.


Job Description:

This position is accountable for ensuring that the company consistently achieves aggressive quarterly targets for revenue growth, margin enhancement, market expansion and client retention. In deep collaboration with other departments, the Vice President, Sales will coach organizations handling direct, channel and partnership sales.

Ideally, we are seeking a candidate who, earlier in their career, was classically trained in the art and craft of sales and sales leadership at a large company where they advanced to a level of significant responsibility. The selected candidate will have emerged from their larger employer into a smaller company where they successfully built a world-class sales organization from the ground up, producing spectacular results while enhancing their already significant sales and leadership skills to a legendary level. Candidates with alternative career tracks and comparable experiences will be considered. The candidate will come to Aluma fully prepared to excel in a career-defining role, taking a seat at the table with a team of highly successful energized executives who are collaborating to take Aluma to the top of each of its expanding markets.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Verifiable track record of successfully leading consultative sales organizations in a hands-on manner that emphasizes mentoring and coaching individuals and training organizations in a natural team setting
  • Experience selling telecommunication-centric products both directly and through channels, to both direct and partnership customers
  • Experienced and enthusiastic user of CRM tools and plug-ins (preferably Salesforce) to drive sales results and create dependable CFO-quality booking and revenue forecasts; knows how to motivate team members to consistently use the provided tools and find sales success doing so
  • Demonstrated ability to solve internal problems in a non-confrontational manner, creating energy and opportunity for those around you to succeed individually and gain credit for empowering sales
  • 10+ years of increasing sales management responsibilities, preceded with at least five years of high performing contribution in an individual contributor sales role
  • Bachelor’s degree graduating in the top quadrant of their class; Master’s degree preferred
  • Multiple exceptional references
  • Special consideration given to candidates with extreme experience selling to government accounts and with long term success in both EMEA and APAC markets
