Telescoping, lightweight, aluminum towers,
up to
100 ft., fixed to all aluminum shelters mounted
on heavy duty galvanized trailers to produce
portable tower units. Our Sheltered Trailer
Tower models are ideal for mobile command centers,
remote base stations, emergency temporary communications,
incident command posts, Cell-on-Wheels (COW),
Mobile Tower Units (MTU), and Numerous other
functions. Our units are simple to deploy and
extremely durable.
The functionality of
our design is simple yet unsurpassed. While
traveling, the tower rests atop the shelter in
a horizontal position. Once you reach your deployment
location, the tower pivots to the vertical position
via a brake winch and cable assembly at the rear
of the trailer. Once the tower is locked into the
vertical position and the other setup tasks are
completed, it can be telescoped upward and is
ready for use. Our
re-designed heavy duty shelter trailer frames
boast hot dip galvanized tubular steel construction,
A-frame with T-bar tongue design, torsion
spring axles, adjustable tongue couplers
(accepts different couplers and lunette eyes),
all L.E.D. lighting, 4-wheel electric brakes,
breakaway kits, 7 pin R.V. type connectors,
2,500 lb. zinc plated tongue jacks, slide
out rear out riggers, 8,000 lb. Leveling
jacks, and many other standard features.
Aluma
Tower's shelters design has an all aluminum
finish assembled with both weldments and
3M Panel Boding Technology. This unrivaled
design also includes 1/8" thick 6063-T52
aluminum box tube wall studs with double insulation
(18R rating), bright white Fiberglass Reinforced
Plastic (FRP) Panel interior trimmed with
anodized aluminum, stainless steel locking
paddle handle latch, 110 VAC receptacles, shore
power inlet, flourescent lighting, and a General
Electric circuit breaker box. The shelter exterior
is painted white with a high quality automtive
grade two-part paint system. Other colors
are also available to suit your requirements.

Aluma Tower now proudly offers a state-of-the-art, unguyed tower combined with our S812 shelter trailer to produce a mobile command center that can easily be deployed by 2 capable men. This setup process, which previously took about 1 hour and 15 minutes, can now be done in only 15 minutes by elimination of the guy wires!

The unguyed towers, affectionately nicknamed “UGH” (Un-Guyed, Heavy-duty), are available up to 106 ft. in height and can handle 250 lb. of dead weight and 10 sq. ft. of antenna surface area at 70 mph winds.
The extra heavy duty trailer frame is fabricated from nearly 4,000 lbs. of galvanized structural steel has dual torsion spring axles, interchangeable tongue couplers and all LED lighting. 2,000 lbs. of marine grade aluminum is used to construct the rugged shelter which also boasts an R18 insulation factor, is painted with high-grade automotive 2 stage paint and carries a nationwide warranty through 3M. This unit gives Aluma the ability to define this as “The Total Package”.
Additional advantages of this package include the following:
- a small setup area of only 25 ft. x 35 ft.
- it can be towed by a 1 ton vehicle
- there are no special licenses required to tow
- can easily handle very rough terrain
