Angela Ledford

Angela Ledford, President and General Manager

Angela (Ang) Ledford joined Aluma Tower Company in 2014 as the President and General Manager.  Prior to joining Aluma Tower Company, Ang held numerous leadership positions in the telecommunications infrastructure industry with executive roles spanning operations, product design and development, manufacturing, sales and marketing, human resources, customer service, and IT.

During her 20+ year career, Ang’s business success is attributed to two primary objectives; first, drive 100 percent customer satisfaction by developing quality products at a competitive price with on-time delivery, and second, employ continuous efforts to streamline and optimize company resources and processes to obtain optimal profitability for the company’s shareholders.

Since joining Aluma Tower Company, Ang has begun to implement her success strategies within her organization.  She has found an abundance of raw talent and pride, which will help to accelerate the realization of Aluma Tower Company’s mission to grow the company tenfold in the next three years.

Ang holds an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management, a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications Management from DeVry Institute of Technology, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude, Project Management Certification from Villanova University, as well as numerous technical certifications.

Shane Mullan

Shane Mullan, Sales and Operations

Shane Mullan, Sales and Operations Director, joined Aluma Tower Company in 2006. Shane began his journey with Aluma as a welder/fabricator and quickly rose through the ranks as Shop Lead and Production Manager. As Production Manager, Shane was successful in reducing overtime by improving workflow and implementing proven work procedures on the production floor.

Since taking on his current role in 2013, Shane has been able to leverage his vast knowledge of the products to become an important element of Aluma’s leadership team. He has assisted in the development of new products such as Aluma’s skid system and is continuously searching for new potential verticals. His current focus is on the growth of the business through increased sales, while maintaining quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery.

Shane holds his AAS of Business Administration and Management from Indian River State College and a Master Welder Certification from Tulsa Welding School in Jacksonville, Florida.

Steve Ellingworth

Director of Quality Management

Steve Ellingsworth, Director of Quality Management

Steve joined the Aluma management team in 2014 as the Director of Quality Management. As the head of quality, Steve works closely with our production and engineering departments to quickly resolve any quality issues that may arise. He promotes continuous improvement to help keep Aluma Tower one of the safest and most customer-focused companies in the tower industry.

Steve is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining our quality management system. While Aluma Tower develops ISO compliant products, Steve’s mission was to move the company to an ISO 9001-2008 certification in 2014. Aluma’s quality management system is closely followed to reduce the opportunity for error. If there is a situation, Steve gets to the root of the problem in order to make sure issues are not repeated.

Steve served with the US Army and participated in Operation Desert Storm with boots on the ground during the liberation of Kuwait. Steve also spent 20 years leading the quality management team at General Dynamics, heading programs totaling more than $20B.

Robert Amsden

Robert Amsden, Director of Engineering

Robert (Rob) Amsden joined Aluma Tower Company in 2014 as the Director of Engineering. Prior to joining Aluma Tower Company, Rob held numerous leadership positions mainly in the national defense industry. His leadership roles spanned product management, research, design and development, manufacturing, new business development, and customer interface.

During his 35+ year career, Rob’s business success is attributed to realizing that winning is not a sometime thing; it is an all-time thing. Hard work does pay off, but it must have logical objectives to strive for 100 percent customer satisfaction. It must deliver a quality product at a fair price and meet customer expectations.

Since joining Aluma Tower Company, Rob has begun to implement his success strategies within engineering. Has been investigating manufacturing processes where LEAN manufacturing principles can be implemented. He has a solid history of producing results within a limited budget and schedule.

Rob holds his AS in Engineering Technology from Eastern Florida State College and numerous technical certifications.

Ricardo Amaral

Vice President of Marketing

Ricardo Amaral, Vice President of Marketing

Ricardo Amaral joined Aluma Tower Company, Inc., in 2010 as Director of Marketing and was promoted to VP of Marketing in 2012. Prior to joining Aluma, Ricardo held several leadership positions in the hospitality and entertainment industry with management roles in operations, product development, marketing, customer service, crisis management, and IT.

During his 15+ year career, Ricardo’s business success is attributed to delivering personal customer service during every phase of the product lifecycle.  Ricardo is an expert at branding and transforming and continues to be a force in innovation at Aluma.

Since joining Aluma, Ricardo has implemented a successful sales and marketing methodology, which has helped the company successfully process more than 450 diverse projects, meeting his sales objectives time after time.  In 2011, Ricardo helped lead the company to achieve its best sales year in the history of the company.  In 2014, Ricardo is focused on driving operational excellence and is preparing Aluma’s team to automate core systems, reduce costs, and optimize resources.

Ricardo holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Central Florida, Nicholson School of Communications and a Bachelor of Science in Advertising and Marketing from University of Central Maranhão – Brazil, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Ricardo is fluent in four languages (Portuguese, Spanish, French, and Italian) and holds numerous management and technical certifications.
